Benjamin T. Kurtz was born and raised in Tribeca, Manhattan. As a young boy, he had aspirations of taking two of his favorite passions and melding them into a career. Taking his passions of boxing and physical education through his formative years led him to make the decision to go to college and pursue a greater knowledge of the science of sports.

Ben went to Long Island University, the Brooklyn campus, to study Physical Education with a focus in Sports Science with a background in sports physiology and kinesiology. With his education, this led him to teach elementary aged students at various schools while also running the after school sports programs at various centers and schools throughout NYC. He focused on teaching the youth as an athletic director, a student teacher, and a public school sports club teacher. With his passion for teaching children the importance of physical education, he continued to pursue his own goals as a boxer. On top of being a husband and father, he is currently training to get his first Pro boxing Win, all while training clients in professional fitness training.
